Under the Waves - Whales

Here are the humpback whale and its calf, as well as the great blue whale that inhabits the waters of the game Under the Waves. I am really pleased to have been in charge of creating the game's wildlife. It was quite fascinating to learn more about those species and very refreshing to be able to work on a stylized, hand-painted texture approach. The concept art was created by Julie Braetchold. I created every fish species in collaboration with the animation team: Damien Vincent and Aurielle Philippart. Thanks to Guillaume Ballet, the lead 3D environment artist on the game for his feedback!
